| Bio: | I teach twentieth-century literature, film, and cultural studies in the Department of English at the University of Arizona in Tucson. I have been experimenting with Live Journal for the last few years to see whether it provides a better supplement to the classroom than a traditional listserve. I tried another weblog provider initially, but found the interface too cumbersome and the comment spam intolerable. I'm hoping that LJ's "Friends" feature, together with its excellent comment threading, will make for a better pedagogic experience.
